“Hidden Figures” was not just a movie about a story of the lives of three women, but the change and struggle of American lives during the Cold War, the Space Race and the American movement for racial equality during the 1960’s. Staff writer Autumn Froitland
Of all the things I hate, scary movies and TV shows are at the top of the list. When I flip through channels, I skip everything with the word “creepy” or “mysterious” in the description. But, when looking for a new series to watch on Netflix, I came across the TV show, “Bates Motel.” The cover photo was pretty creepy, but I thought I would give it a try, and surprise surprise, I ended up loving it. Even though I’ve never watched the famous (and slightly terrifying) movie, “Psycho,” which “Bates Motel” is the prequel of, I still enjoyed the show. Staff writer Kiersten Moss
